And we thought it couldn't get any better...

Guess what folks? That same amazing staff we were gushing over a few days back has volunteered to serve you lovely folks on Christmas and New Years. Yep, that's right. The cafe will be open Christmas Day from 8am-2pm serving coffee, tea, and limited food service. We will be open New Years Day from 10am-2pm, serving coffee, tea, and our regular menu.

How's that for holiday spirit?

there's that holiday spirit and cheer!
i was looking through photos the other day and found the self-portraits i took of me and lola trudging through the snow for a latte during last year's snowpocalypse (while my husband was in london and i couldn't get chains on my car by myself). lola was in the pack, my hands were full of latte, camera, hat, mittens and each step had to break through the crust of ice over the snow, so it was a trek. to have you guys open and to stand in line with so many other people happy to see you open was the best :)

You guys are amazing, as always! And while we won't be home to visit the cafe on Christmas, we have visited already visited multiple places on your List of Deliciousness - Cafe Grumpy, Murray's Bagels, Billy's Bakery, Hill Country BBQ (where, in addition to an excellent meal, we had an *amazing* red velvet cupcake), and A Salt and Battery! You haven't steered us wrong yet! Tomorrow - out in the snow! Thanks for everything!

Hey, Evan. Great to see you at the cafe on Friday. Thanks for the tip on Farm:Table; I'd heard of it a while back but had forgotten to check it out. And you're right about that Ecco coffee. I buy my beans at their roastery in Santa Rosa every week. Great folks there. -- Had a great time in Portland again, but as always, there are just too many good coffee & food places to visit in a couple days....
